The Salonpiloot point of sale checks out treatments and products from the appointment. You split a payment between card and cash, send the receipt by email and count your till at the end of the day. Every sale lands on the client profile by itself. For hair salons, barbers and beauty salons.

How it works

  1. Open the appointment

    Pick the appointment in the calendar and check out. The treatment and client are already on the receipt.

  2. Add products

    Choose from your product list. Price and VAT rate are set per product.

  3. Take payment, split if you like

    Card, cash or a gift card. Split means part by card first, the rest in cash.

  4. Receipt by email or print

    The receipt goes to the email address on the client profile. Printing uses your browser's print function.

What the till does

  • Services and products

    The treatment comes from the appointment. You add products from your own product list, with a price and VAT rate per product.

  • Split payments

    Split one receipt over card and cash: the card part first, the rest in cash. The till works out the change.

  • Receipts by email

    The receipt goes to the email address on the client profile. You can email it again later from the receipt.

  • Count your till

    At the end of the day you count your till on the day overview. The change fund at the start plus the cash takings is what should be in it; you see the difference straight away.

  • Linked to client profiles and the loyalty programme

    Every sale is in your client's history. With the loyalty programme (from Professional), clients collect points on every completed sale.

  • Gift cards

    Enter the gift card's code; the balance is checked and comes off the total. Selling from Professional, redeeming always.

Questions about the till

Do I need a card terminal?
Yes, if you want clients to pay by card. Your client pays on your own card terminal and you record the payment in the Salonpiloot till. Only cash checkout works without a card terminal.
Can I keep track of products and stock?
Yes. You add products with a price and VAT rate in Salonpiloot. Every sale counts down the stock; deliveries and counts go under Stock.
How does the cash count work?
At the end of the day you count the cash and enter the amount on the Salonpiloot day overview. The change fund at the start plus the cash takings is what should be in the till. You see the difference straight away, and the count is kept.
Can I send a receipt again?
Yes. Open the receipt in Salonpiloot and email it again; it goes to the email address on the client profile. If there's no address yet, add it first. Printing always works.
